Missed by Hurricane Humberto

Humbert shifted northeast last night and is moving up the Texas coast. The shift put us on the "dry side" of the storm. We did get some rain and wind out of it. It was pretty cool to see the outer bands of the storm come in - the sky looked like some sci-fi movie.

Humberto was classified as a CAT1 hurricane early this morning, with winds up to 85mph

Hey Em, it's Ribbit :) Just thought I'd drop you a line and say hello. I've been keeping up with you on your site, but some exciting news about me. I'm moving to Tooele, Utah in about 2 weeks. I want to be closer to Rachel and lots of aunts and uncles....so I'm excited! Your kids are SOO cute! I read the story about you having Eliza and was cracking up. Make sure you have a copy of the story for her when she's older :) Hope things are going well for you, I'll try to be better about keeping in touch. Talk to you later!

Glad you guys are safe. We were watching the storm in the news over here. Glad that we don't have to worry about that anymore. Now we try to keep sand out of places it should never be.
