Rollercoaster

It's been an a rollercoaster week. UP- Tuesday Jared and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary. It's hard to believe we have been married three years, it has passed so quickly. We went out to a nice dinner at our favorite mexican restaurant and then headed out to go bowling…DOWN - but it was league night…so we decided to go night golfing at the course in Dickinson…but we started out at 8 pm and they shut the light off at 9:30 (even though the course is open until 10pm). So we picked up Erin and were home by 8:30. Jared got me “dumb and dummer” I know your thinking real romantic, actually our main present are a few trees to fill the “ugly space” in our front yard. I think we have decided on a Sycamore - Okay so that’s not real romantic either, but if its any consolation, I got him a pair of pants. Its has been an amazing ride and married life had treated us well.

UP - Wednesday I finished a major catalog project I have been working on for a few months. Its was a relief to be done with it and when I opened my check I had a $450.00 bonus, which made my sucky day much better. Down - That sucky day came from a new photo archive project I am working on through a court order of a very immature couple going through a nasty divorce. I have 2200 photos to scan and archive by the end of next week.

WAY DOWN - Wednesday I also got sick with the seasonal “chipmunk face.” Actually I looked like I took a full hit from a baseball bat. Like clock work it dropped below 65 degrees one night and my face swelled up with a major sinus infection (which is not normal). I spent most of Wednesday at the doctors and Thursday and Friday in bed. Next week I am going to an ENT specialist and have a series of CT scan done on my sinuses. Just one more thing to add to my random medical history.

UP – Friday night Zoran and Melissa invited us over for dinner. I was feeling better and the food was excellent.

And tonight Kallie and I went down to the Jazz festival at the docks when the men were at the Priesthood session of Conference. The ice cream was over priced, the sax player was horrid, but it was a night out.

And now for the photos....
Renshaw Design just became Renshaw & Renshaw Co. I hired Erin as a consultant; she just has a way with explaining things to clients. I had a packed week and Erin hung out with me in my studio. I think I may be rubbing off on her.Our whirlpool tube just seems to work for Erin. There is a short in the system that we can’t located so for now Erin refers to it as her “pool”We have a very strict rule in our house about no feet on the dinner table; Erin likes to test her limits.

Congratulations on your anniversary. We would have loved to have shared your wedding with you. YOu are always in our hearts and prayers. Little Erin is such an angel.

Aunt Treva was very pleased to get a pic of her. She put it on her bulletin board. "She looks just like Emmaly"!

Sound like my week. I think the ideas for trees and plants are great annivesary presents. you get to see them grow with you. On your 25th when it is huge, you will be like, remember when we planted this.

Congrats on your anniversary! Sorry I missed that one. Don't you hate weeks like that? I always wonder why we have to swing from such highs to such lows in an oh-so-short period of time. Sort of like October's temperature fluctuations, except we get to experience them all year.
