We had a wonderful Christmas. This was our first year away from family and it felt odd not to have the commotion of family dinners and get-togethers. But we enjoyed starting our own family traditions and getting some time to spend together as a family.
Erin was prime age for Santa this year, she was so excited and it provided great leverage in the weeks leading up to Christmas. When we asked her what her favorite gift was, she replied….” I love them all!”.

Honestly, I think I would really enjoy a Christmas just by ourselves for once. I would've more than readily bypassed all the commotion of having all the family over this year.
